It isn't difficult to become tangled in death
Since humans are born so out of place
…Awkward virgins with glowing faces
Easy targets for deflowering

And when I see Strung-out kids walk the dirty streets
Using, pushing, stirred in with the humdrum
Infusing poisons into their helpless veins
Washing down the pains and fears of living
With bottle upon bottle of Bourbon
Among other things

I know better than to shake my head

Haven't we all been dead in some way?
